Exceptional Work, Dave! (Reply to this comment)

Dave,
You and Howard Creech are the absolute best camera reviewers. You need to be getting paid for these mini-works of art. Why not do this for money at Pop Photography, Shutterbug and Peterson's Photographic?
I own an N80, it was my intro to Nikon and the world of AF photography. Had I not already owned this body, your review sure would have helped me in my decision to buy one. However, your review was not wasted on me; it just reaffirms the rightness of my original buying decision.
Many thanks for the care and effort you put into your reviews.

A Master's Touch... (Reply to this comment)

...in this review. I noted no mention of price; which is just as well, since my heart cannot take much more.
I have noticed that several makers are competing with the digital designs, model for model and the buyer gets much more for the $.
Thanks

Excellent review fellow shooter. If I wasn't already deep into my Maxxum set-up this would be my choice. I just have been a Minolta person from a young age primarily because of family tradition. This day and age there isn't really wide gaps in quality between the same levels of differing manufacturers, in my opinion anyway. P.S. I ended up buying the Sigma 28mm-105mm 2.8-4 I was researching. See my review. Forgive the blatant promotion...... Mike

Talk about thorough - be sure to submit this one to some search engines, you deserve a LOT of traffic to this! Great job, Dave --

Obviously you were able to convince Mrs Sweeper that the time had come to purchase a new camera. Sounds like you are having a blast putting the N80 through its paces, it won't let you down, it is a super image maker. Blue skies and light breezes amigo. Howard
