I have golf for over twenty years. I have in my bag a mixture of clubs, I get the one that works for me and I tend to hang on to that club for a long time. I had a Ping ISOPUR blade putter, that I loved, when this Craz-E putter line came out.
I was in the golf shop trying putters while my wife was shopping one day. I looked at the goofy thing and thought it was some off the wall gimmick. I reluctantly ended up putting a few balls with it on the little green they had. Surprizingly enought it felt really good.
When you hit the ball it feels as if that monsterous head is your hand and you are rolling the ball to the hole. On the greens I was dropping long putts that seemed impossible. I shaved at least 4 strokes off the first day I play with it. The feel of the club has improved my distance control, I owe that to the insert. I'm seldom further than a foot or two away on any lag. The cavity back is a Ping tradition and is part of the design of this putter. It assists in the off center hits. The alignment features a long line and a round end that helps me stay on line through the putt.
The grip is just like the blade putter I had with a flat front side that makes a comfortable place for my thumbs and lines the face up the same, time after time. Even the cover has advantages. It closes by the aid of a magnet, if you drop the cover, the head of putter will stick to it and you can pick it up without bending over. I'll keep this putter for a long time. It is as it's name states, "the Anser" (answer)
