| pimpdaddygeo's Full Review: Stockli Stormrider |
I had the pleasure of riding on the Stormrider last March in Taos for 6 days, and all I can say is that it is one of the best skis ever to be produced (along w/ the Dynamic VR17,VR27)This ski handles it all! From crud to crap, from pow to ice, from short to long this ski is stable and solid. Remember now, I'm a 6'2, 200lb east coast freeskier who can work the ski in all conditions, and I would warn anyone without alot of experience not to buy these skis. Even though I believe the ski works for me in all terrains, doesn't me this ski is an all-around ski for everyone. I would also warn to new buyers, purchase this ski in a small size. I grew up on 210 GS boards, and 205 SL skis and I found the 183 had just as much stability as me 215 DH boards at high speed. Also if your an old school skidder this ski will suck for you. To get this ski to work you need new school body work and technique. The stormrider rocks and so will you if you can handle the power.
