| minettestra's Full Review: Nikon Nuvis S APS Film Camera |
I had this camera about 9 months when "halos" started forming around light colored objects. There was a small light leak and I had never dropped the camera. I loved this camera and took very good care of it. It was very easy to use, super compact, and took good photos most of the time.
When searching for prices on this camera, you find about 4 sharply "discounted" prices for every 1 full price. Can we say refurbished?!? Ever wonder why there are so many refurbished Nikon Nuvis S's out there?
This camera was the best, I was very happy with it until it developed these problems (got "foggy lens" soon after the light leak). It would have remained awesome had it not been for these problems. Unless Nikon develops better craftsmanship for this camera (still think Nikon as a whole is good), look elsewhere.
