| blokefish's Full Review: Olympus IS-20 DLX QD 35mm Film Camera |
I purchased this camera for my wife back in 2001. We have since then taken a few hundreds rolls of film on it; the heaviest usage started in late 2003 when our first child was born and we didn't slow down (especially after our second child was born in 2005). The results and ease of use speak for themselves. This is a very good camera for shutter bugs wanting more versatility than the traditional P&S. Also very good for beginning photographers who want to experiment with shutter speed, aperture, and f-stop. The lense itself has a XXmm threading inside the outer edge, so attaching add-ons (wide angle adapters, filters) isn't out of the question.
In 2005 we went digital and didn't look back. Still, we hang on to this model because it treated us well, still operates properly, and is still capable of taking great shots.
