| toyshika's Full Review: Minolta Maxxum Qtsi Body Only 35mm Film Camera |
I’m normally not the photographer. I’m usually the one who jumps in front of the camera. I purchased this camera last year. I just received my tax check, and I didn’t know if I should have purchased clothes, or maybe I should have bought a digital camera. One thing I knew for sure, I was expecting a baby and I need to take those first pictures. So I purchased the camera. Now I’m not the one who normally reads the manuals to anything, I pretty much had to figure it out. And until this day, I still have not read the book. This camera is excellent. I love the many flash options it has, this camera takes good pictures in the dark. It has this background light filler, so when you hit that button and you take the pictures, it throws out an extra light before it snaps the picture which makes the background light. When you use the camera for general picture taking, using Kodak 200 film, the automatic feature will auto focus everything for you. This picture is equipped with an auto timer, and can be mounted on a tri pod as well if your into the family pictures, or even landscape pictures. Now, I used the original lens for about a year, before I upgraded it. I wanted more mm for my camera so I could take pictures that were further away. I read another review where the person said the colors don’t come out right? I wanted to clarify something from a photographer/photo developer point of view. Before I took on my part time job at MotoPhoto, I was taking my pictures anywhere. In order to get very good pictures, you need to take them to the right place to get developed. I won’t name many of the stores, but things you need to know are. Do they print the pictures, and then just give them to you? Or do they do the color correction that MotoPhoto does? See, many places just insert the role, and they print them as if. MotoPhoto, prints the pictures, then we can alter the color in them. If the picture you took with this camera was to dark, we lighten it up for. I have seen the best come from my camera. I have many examples on my website, that this camera produces more than you can handle. It’s easy to use, that my brother of 15 years old was able to use and had no problem. I took pictures at their birthday party in my parents home. They had the lights out, and was only using a black light to light the room. When I took the film in the next day, I was amazed! They came out, as if we were outside on a sunny day. Because this camera is so good, I then became a photographer. I’ve taken pictures for people for their weddings, and birthday parties. I use both lens, and I love it. With the correct speed of the film, this camera also takes very good action pictures. This camera indeed can become your best friend. Even if your just starting out, this would be a good investment. Besides, I needed a good camera to catch all the love and joy of my son. Please, buy this camera!!!
