| makav's Full Review: Minolta Maxxum Qtsi Body Only 35mm Film Camera |
The QTsi is a very easy to use, lightweight, compact SLR. It's ready to fire in an instant, and fully-automatic; it can measure and adjust the exposure for you, and the focus, even if the subject is moving. The pop-up flash is automatic as well, flashing when the light is too low, etc. Larger, optional flashes are also available for this model also. I found it to be just as simple to use as a point and shoot. It has a red eye reduction flash, portrait mode for close-up photography(softens background), landscape mode for when you want the background and foreground sharp, close-up mode for small subjects, sports mode to freeze fast movement, and night portrait mode, giving you a longer exposure time. There are lenses available for this model such as a wide angle, telephoto and macro, and these can also be used on other AF models. The battery is a lithium, expensive, but long-lasting. This is a great camera to take on a trip because of the size, and clarity of pictures.
