Pros: nikon brand Cons: does not work with the hot new nikon digital SLRs
I bought this along with my new Nikon d70 digital SLR. I read that it has TTL metering. I am new to the world of SLRs, having used digital point-and-shoots only. I was impressed with the TTL metering with the pop up flash and bought the above macro flash because it does TTL.
HOWEVER it does not work with the d70 in TTL mode!!!! You need to use it in manual mode. In the manual, it states that it works in TTL with film SLRs.
It really does not clearly state this in the camera shops, or on the Nikon web site. But I suppose if I had asked a good sales person they might have told me so. I now need to get rid of it.
