Nikon N70 Film Camera

Pros: Accuracy - exposure, quality of images
Cons: The designers had too much time on their hands and made it overly complicated.

I purchased this camera from a friend - he simply found the unit to be too complex due to the auto-options. He is right, any amateur will find this camera a tad overly complicated. However, as an experienced photog (and PC user) I quickly overlooked the goofy options and concentrated on the logical controls that I would use constantly. I tell you, I was more than surprised by the accuracy of the exposure, and, especially by the picture quality of the PLASTIC standard zoom lens. I set this fellow on shutter priority most of the time and it does what I need. Being able to switch off the auto-focus for manual control is always a bonus. Now, once Nikon gets their latest $1,000 digital unit down to 700.00, I am adding to the family. (added note: the Nikon lens was actually challenged by the Zuikos on my 25 year old OM-1).
