Dinner With Friends

Pros: Geoffrey Cantor (understudy for Arkin) is wonderful, play is very interesting.
Cons: Don't sit in the back unless you have a hearing aid.

I was so excited to see Dinner with Friends. I had such high hopes. I had wanted to see this play for quite some time. My fiance and I usually get around to seeing everything sooner or later, but when I heard the play was closing soon, I was desperate....

Pros: Superb acting
Cons: Too talky

I was interested in seeing this play because it won this year's Pulitzer Prize for drama and since I'm a reference librarian in the literature and languages department of a public library, I thought it made sense for me to go see Dinner With Friends....

Pros: Set design and acting
Cons: depressing

I was invited to see this play at the last minute. I was joining my brother and another couple. I must say that I was glad that I was not seeing the play with my wife.

The play revolves around two married couples each at opposite extremes....
