Adorama Online Store

Adorama is the worst amazon.com affiliate store I have ever dealt with. They advertised an item as in stock. It did not arrive with my other items but there was no explanation. Three emails later they finally told me it was on backorder even though their website still stated it was in stock. I emailed asking how long until I might expect it. They emailed back maybe 2-3 weeks. Three weeks later I asked again to be told they were on a one week holiday (no clue what holiday) and that they would not read emails sent during their "holiday" so I would have to resubmit my email on the following Monday. I did that and just got an email from them telling me they were refunding my money. Their communication was dismal, unfriendly and unresponsive to the questions I asked.

I've been dealing with Adorama, for over twenty years, back when they had a PAPER catalog. I have over a thousand dollars in camera equipment - 95% of it bought from Adorama.

When I need something, photographic, electronic, or just general "art" kind of stuff (I recently bought picture frames) I check Adorama. Chances are they have what I'm looking for, at a great price.

Customer service is great! And they're shipping is FAST

Adorama has a great online store. It is very easy to navigate and Adorama has great prices. Delivery was very quick and shipping was reasonable. I will definitely order from Adorama again.

One of the items I ordered was defective and Adorama's Customer Service was great. They replacing it immediately at no cost or inconvenience to me. I am extremely pleased. Hassle-free replacement and returns make online shopping worth that much more! Thank you!

The filter I received was the wrong size. I called Adorama and they immediately sent me the correct filter and allowed me to return the wrong one.

I have made several orders with Adorama over the past few years. My orders have included Digital SLR, Digital point and shoot, and underwater camera equipment. I have found Adorama reliable, cost competitive, quick to fill and deliver orders. When I have had questions on products, I have found their customer service on the phone to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have used their online print service and have been very pleased with the results. I have ordered several color enlargements, some as large as 20x14. The prints are stunning.

I was hesitant about ordering after reading the reviews--they were either all good or all bad. But I went ahead and ordered a 35mm camera. No problem and I was notified right away regarding shipment and I received the camera within 3 days.

Still waiting for an order placed on Apr 14 to be shipped. Order confirmation says they will notify you within 1 business day if there are problems, but they don't. When you ask, they will tell you the item will ship "next week" but it doesn't. I will be cancelling the order monday, and not ordering from Adorama again, use B&H instead!!!

Excellent place to shop. I have placed over 5 orders with them in the past 3 months and all have been shipped with exactly what I ordered and arrived as scheduled. No question will shop there again!

Customer service was very helpful. I phoned with a question about the quality of two brands because there was a big price difference. And I was told about a sale item of comparable quality to the higher priced item, not advertised online. I'm very pleased with what I bought... and the price.

A great trustworthy merchant. Deep selection and excellent real prices. I can find stuff at Adorama that I can't find at local brick and mortar stores. On top of which I never feel gouged on those hard to find goods.

An example is my return to shooting slide film after a long break. It used to be that I could find Kodachrome at Price Club - aka Costco in bulk. As you might guess things have changed and slide film is very hard to source locally. I purchased Fuji Velvia 50 from Adorama at a very reasonable price.

They also have a long track record of being customer centric business. I never feel nervous shopping here. I can't say the same for many of the web based stores that promise prices that are too good to be true, while promising very little in the way of customer care.

Adorama is a big store that manages to provide the customer support of the old local stores that were run by the owner, who was passionate about his/her business. A rarity in this age of corporate conformity.
