Wow...really impressed with these folks. Located a hard-to-find digital camera at their San Diego store. Couldn't have dealt with more friendly, cooperative, and genuine glad-you're-our-customer type people. And, when you phone there, you get REAL people on the telephone without a 30 minute wait.

after pricing the camera i wanted online, i decided to go with calumet because they have been in business for along time and i know they have pretty good service from previous experience.

Actually, I placed an order with their competitors first, but they were not able to ship me the item - but indeed kept my money for ELEVEN DAYS!!!
So, after getting my money back from the competitor's site, I decided to try Calumet Photo (thanks to positive feedback for this site).
And what a breeze! The item was shipped the same day as I payed for it and was delivered in 3 business days! And that's an international order!
The lens were very carefully packaged, the communication was very prompt and efficient - two thumbs up, Calumet !

Not only it was fast and efficient - this also saved me a lot of money, as I saved over $3,000 with this order, compared with the prices in local shops.

I placed the order for Coolpix P5100 through Calumet website on Sunday, December 2nd and received my camera at Friday, December 7th; ground UPS
It was some confusion related to order tracking caused mainly by UPS and lack of ability to track the order on Calumet website but customer support was very friendly and helpful. I’ll continue using this store myself and would highly recommend to everyone

There are lots of low-life camera sellers on the internet ready to scam unsuspecting folks. This is not one of them.

I have been buying from these folks for at least 20 years. They are knowlegeable, and trustworthy.

If they cost a wee bit more, it's worth it because of the awesome customer service.
